In this class, we'll learn the basics of sewing commercial deer hide in preparation for working with buckskin. Participants will make a small leather pouch and take it home. The skills we cover will work for different leathers and we will cover information to help you make clothing, bags, and moccasins. Examples of each will be present as we discuss making patterns and different stitches. Please bring feathers, shells, or beads to add to your pouch. All materials and tools will be provided.

This class will be located indoors in Missoula.

Materials fee: $10 (to be paid directly to instructor upon arrival to class)
