In this class we'll saunter through a wild area along the Bitterroot River and you will learn how to identify 25+ species of native flowers, trees, shrubs and lichens. We will discuss how to sustainably harvest them for food, medicine, crafts and more. You'll leave with a greater appreciation for the myriad of plants that grow in Montana and how many wonderful gifts they have to offer.
Please bring a notebook, water and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
